Muslim American Society (MAS) is a charitable, religious, social, cultural, educational, and not-for-profit organization. It is a pioneering Islamic organization, an Islamic revival, and reform movement that uplifts the individual, the family, and the society.

MAS San Diego is a branch of Muslim American Society, headquartered in Falls Church, VA and includes MAS Youth, MAS Freedom Foundation, and The American Muslim Magazine.

Weekly Events at MAS
MAS Youth Center is open for all 5 daily prayers, including Friday prayers. In addition to the regular prayers, the following special activities occur on each day of the week.

Sunday Fajr Program: Fajr Prayer, followed by morning supplications (Al- Mau'thurat), a brief lecture, Duha prayer (after sunrise) and potluck breakfast
Khatera- Isha prayer, followed by short study of the Qur'an (tafseer), by Sh. Abu Ibrahim
Monday Khatera- Isha prayer, followed by short reflection about one of the notable companions of the Prophet (pbuh), by Sh. Abu Ibrahim
Tuesday Khatera- Isha prayer, followed by a session on Rules of Quran Recitation (Tajweed), by Br. Akram
Wednesday Women Class- 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM, Sis. Um Saif Al deen Kelany and Sh. Abu Ibrahim. Khatera- Isha prayer, followed by short reflection on a topic of Islamic juriprudence (Fiqh), by Sh. Abu Ibrahim
Thursday Special Khatera- Isha prayer, followed by a special talk by Sh. Taha Hassane
Friday Khatera- Isha prayer, followed by a continuing series of lectures on the Beautiful Names of Allah (Asma al Hosna), by Sh. Abu Ibrahim
Saturday Arabic and Tajweed Class- 10am to noon, by Dr. Gomaa
MAS Weekly Lecture - Isha prayer, followed by a continuing series of lectures on the Hearafter (Dar Al Akhera), by Sh. Abu Ibrahim or special guest
MAS Family Night (second Saturday of each month)
